How It Works

How it works

Turn the back seat into usable dog space

Most back seats are narrower than they look. Dogs slide towards the footwell, and every trip leaves hair, sand and mud behind. A hard-bottom extender bridges the footwell gap, creating a broader covered platform where your dog can settle, while helping protect the seat, doors and footwell from the mess.

Installation

  1. Drape it over the rear seat

Position the extender across the rear seat with the hard-bottom section bridging the footwell.

  2. Secure the headrest straps

Loop the adjustable straps around suitable front and rear headrest posts and tighten them evenly.

  3. Secure the anchors and side panels

Tuck the seat anchors into the seat gap and secure the raised side panels using the fitted straps and clips.

  4. Check the fit and seat-belt access

Make sure the extender is sitting flat and secure, then locate the built-in seat-belt access openings if required.
